Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 15, 2026
The short version: your audio files never leave your device. All processing happens locally in your browser. We do not have accounts and we do not sell data. The only thing we collect is anonymous usage statistics, such as which pages are visited, from which country, and on what kind of device.
1. Your audio files
Every tool on SoniqTools processes your files locally in your browser, using Web Audio and WebAssembly technology. Your files are never uploaded, sent, or stored on any server. We could not look at them even if we wanted to. All the work happens on your device, and closing the tab clears everything from memory.
2. What we do collect: anonymous analytics
To understand which tools people find useful, we use two analytics services:
- Google Analytics 4 records page views, rough location (country or city level), device and browser type, and how visitors move between pages. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to recognize repeat visitors. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
- Cloudflare Web Analytics is a privacy-friendly service that uses no cookies. It only records total page views.
Neither service ever sees your audio files or what is inside them.
3. Cookies
The only cookies on this site come from Google Analytics (named _ga and similar). We set no cookies of our own, and there are no advertising or tracking cookies. If we ever add advertising, we will update this policy first and ask for consent where the law requires it.
4. Third-party resources
Like most websites, our pages load some files from other servers: fonts from Google Fonts and CDN Fonts, and open source audio libraries (such as FFmpeg.wasm) from the jsDelivr CDN. When your browser loads these files, those services see your IP address, just like on any other website that uses them.
5. What we never do
- We never upload, inspect, or store your audio files
- We never sell or share personal data with third parties
- We never ask for an account, an email address, or any personal information to use the tools
6. Your rights
Since we only collect anonymous statistics, there is usually nothing for us to delete or export. But if you have any privacy question or request, including rights under the GDPR or similar laws, email contact@soniqtools.com and we will help.
7. Changes to this policy
If the way SoniqTools works ever changes (for example, if we add advertising or optional accounts), we will update this policy and the date at the top before those changes go live.
